The Vision:

Beware: energetic personality ahead! It has always been Eric’s nature to Form political and physical landscapes with the hope of improving his playGround; AKA the earth. Eric’s artistic mindset and forward-thinking approach allow him to make a difference through planning, designing and building for the future. The perspective he earned from working as a laborer to being employed as a vice president sustains an expansive and evolving career. As the founder and CEO of Form G Companies, Eric continues to draw from his talents by building relationships, creating design solutions and providing single source management through his "E3" business model each and every day.

Envision:

Eric’s educational background has no doubt enabled him to simply, "do-what-he-does" for a living. Pursuant to his long term goals, Eric graduated from Ball State’s nationally recognized College of Architecture and Planning (CAP) where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Landscape Architecture and a specialization of Fine Arts in 2002.

As orderly as engineering can be, Eric landed as an intern at the nationally recognized QK4 civil design firm. He threw artistic curves into plans which often disrupted the norm, but caught the attention of many. Land planning came natural and Eric began to build an extensive resume of creative and cost efficient design solutions for complex projects. After graduating Eric secured a position as a project manager at a multidisciplinary design firm, LD&D where he worked tirelessly to refine his business skills and acquire his license as Registered Landscape Architect (RLA), one of only 16,000 in the U.S.!

Entitlements:

In 2006 Eric was hand-picked by POE Companies, Louisville’s most experienced leader in real estate development. Working with some of the largest developers in the region, Eric managed over $1.5 billion dollars of multi-use projects in various cities across the country in just 3 years.

Due to the recession, Eric moved on to create a position as the Vice President of Development for a construction management company in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Once again he challenged the norm to procure, design, manage and construct over 100 public and private projects in 6 years.

Leading the development team, Goodman, through his company Sweet T, LLC, played an integral part of the successful transformation from a single purpose construction entity, into a multifaceted real estate development firm. Eric used this platform to build an investment portfolio that enabled him to finally take the plunge.

Execute:

Now living out his vision, Eric is the founder of Form G Companies where he continues to apply his experience, generate strategic relationships and create high performing real estate assets. Eric is at his best when he is orchestrating the planning and design process, preparing financial packages, and representing owners to ensure each project meets or exceeds expectations.

His proven track record and natural sense to form common ground between developers and community leaders has led to 15 years of smart-growth. Eric’s personal and professional goals to envision, entitle and execute are applied in everything he does.

Eric is a member of One Southern Indiana and serves on the 1SI Leadership Group; "Winners Circle". He has served on several community steering committees and is the President of the HOA at the Elks on Spring St. As a parishioner at St. Anthony’s of Padua, Eric also stays active by trying to keep up with his accomplished marathon running wife Jessica, biking, swimming, boating and chasing his 2 daughters Tess and Ruby- whose halos are supported by their horns!
